SIP Forum releases latest head count

Last week, the SIP Forum released its latest membership figures. The organization counts 48 full member (i.e. they pay dues) companies, five academic members, and more than 6,500 individual members from around the world.
Headline names that have joined SIP Forum since the last time it published numbers include Bell Canada; 8×8; Optimum Lightpath, a division of Cablevision ; Cedar Point Communications; Comcast; Cox ; Genband; NET; Nortel; PAETEC; Samsung; ShoreTel; and XO Communications.
